ACSO alleges several charges against 21-year-old driver Arrest just after midnight on Sunday morning comes after Adair County Sheriff's Department Deputies Josh Durbin and Brandon Hitch initiate traffic stop. Driver faces charges reckless driving, DUI, and other charges. Note - Charges are are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. From Adair County Sheriff's Office On Sunday morning April,30,2017 at approximately 12:20amCT Deputy Josh Durbin initiated a traffic stop on a 2007 Lincoln on Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY, for reckless driving. After contact with the driver Deputy Durbin observed a open container of alcoholic beverage in the vehicle and the driver appeared to be under the influence. After further investigation Deputy Durbin also located a small amount of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. 21 year old Elliot Clark was arrested and charged with reckless driving, possession of a open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, DUI, operating a vehicle with expired operators license, possession of marijuana, and Drug paraphernalia, Deputy Durbin was assisted at the scene by Adair County Deputy Brandon Hitch.
