Kathy Tucker celebrates last day at ACES After 31 yers of hard work and dedication . . . Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Alissa Barnes, Counselor Adair County Elementary School After 31 years of hard work and dedication, Mrs. Kathy Tucker is retiring from the Adair County School system. For the past 10 years she has been attendance clerk and asst. counselor. Kathy is one of those people who did most of her work behind the scenes, so it often went unnoticed. That work, however, helped to keep Adair County Elementary School going. Few people are as knowledgeable about a school's day-to-day procedures. As admirable as Mrs. Kathy's work ethic is, it does not compare to her love for children. So many children have stopped in our office for hugs and candy from Mrs. Kathy, which are always readily available. I cannot count the times she has brought in new clothes and shoes for children. I may have been aware, but most others weren't. This is not goodbye, Mrs. Kathy. Just a "so long" for now. You will be so terribly missed. 2016-08-16 16:23:18 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Education
