Hearse carrying Anthony & Tammy Reece home at Livingston, TN at 2:30pmCT Expected in Columbia between 3:45pm and 4:30pmCT Blake Martin at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home said that the hearse carrying Anthony & Tammy Reece home to Columbia from Lake Lanier, GA, came through Livingston, TN at 2:30pmCT, and that his father, David Martin, expects to be at the Columbia Walmart at around 3:45 to as late as 4:30pmCT. When the hearse arrives, it will be escorted into Columbia by law enforcement vehicles, several of Anthony's Auto Sales vehicles including boats on trailers, with many RZRs and side-by-side off road vehicles. The procession was organized by Stacy Melton, the mother of Anthony Reece's son Tristan. HS Band looks to repeat as state, national champions March toward another state title already underway By Wes Feese Media Relations, Adair County Schools More than 100 Adair County students are braving the soaring temperatures this summer to hone their craft and maintain their lofty position as the most decorated high school marching band in the state. The defending state and national champion Adair Band began its two-week camp last week, with students putting in nine hour days to sharpen their skills and prepare for this fall's competitions. According to director Tom Case, however, the students are learning far more than music and marching directions. Like other teachers in the district, Case's chief aim is to prepare students for what comes next. Posted: 12:55pmCT A boil water advisory is in effect for consumers of Columbia Adair Utilities District for customers starting at 7540 Liberty Road to 7936 Liberty Road, Lether Burton Road, Burt-Co-Pike Road, 187 Little Cake Road to 473 Little Cake Road and Fairview Road.The advisory has been issued due to a main line leak. Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using. This advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality. Remembering Anthony & Tammy Reece: They loved life 'If tears could bring both back . . . you both would be with us tonight' Brenda Henson writes: What a great picture of these two angels. Only the Lord knows how bad we miss you tonight. How will we get through life without these special two people? Anthony, I love you so much. You were like my child, always there for us. They loved life and died doing what they enjoyed. Watched him grow up playing with my son, Brandon. So good to his mother and also brothers. Loved his many, many friends. We love Tammy also. She was a great wife. Spent lots of time at Anthony's Auto Sales. Always had a smile on her face. Cooked lunch every day for the guys that worked for them.
