By Brian H. Akers

THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION! By now, we are all aware the Governor's budget has been released and the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers budgets have been reduced by 9% for the next fiscal year with 4.5% of that reduction coming in this current school year. It is VERY important that you, your families, your community partners, teachers or other school staff, and anyone else willing to voice support for our program to take action. We need to communicate the negative impact this will have one our centers' ability to help strengthen and stabilize the most vulnerable families and students of our Commonwealth.
