CMS students collect food for those in need By Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS) Campbellsville Middle School recently hosted a "Souper Bowl of Caring" food drive to collect food for those in need. In all, more than 500 canned and non-perishable food items were collected. Garnetta Murrell’s fourth-grade class collected 72 items, for third place. In second place was Lisa Kearney’s sixth-grade class, with 76 items. And, in first place, Bradley Harris’s sixth-grade class collected 103 items. Lawhorn, of Liberty, Ky., at the church, The funeral being held at an unexpected hour caused many to miss attending, however the church was well filled while many arrived too late and scores were turned back before reaching the church.
