D.J. Davis, Jr., Green Co., KY (1938-2016) 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was in Design Production for the former Greensburg Manufacturing Company for over 25 years, and was a farmer. He was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late David Jefferson Davis, Sr., and Ida Milby Davis. James Wilson, 66, Liberty, KY (1949-2016) 
Mr. Wilson was a sawmill worker and enjoyed the outdoors while hunting and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was born in Casey County, KY, was a resident of the county at the time of his death in Lexington, KY, and his final resting place will be in Casey County. He was the son of James and the late Stella Jones Wilson, who survive, as does his wife, Mary Ann Wilson. Letter: Thanks for sharing the Happy Chandler Road Letter writes: Billy Joe Fudge, thank you for sharing that awesome glimpse of your Dad by the side of his Happy Chandler Road in Adair County. Mom and I loved it, remembering when Earl Reid Marcum held a state job in Metcalfe County and hauled his family around in the evenings after supper to campaign for Happy -- it was expected of state workers then to actively campaign as part of the job. It was not required that we sing "Happy Days are Here Again" as we traveled the mostly gravel roads around Sulphur Well, Center, Node and Knob Lick, but sing we did, Dad in an incredible tenor and Mom in her pretty alto, with my brother and me awkwardly chiming in from the back seat. By Billy Joe Fudge992 Sparksville - Fairplay Road is where I was raised by, of course, both my Mom and this amazing man, my Dad, James Ordell Fudge (photo). The picture was taken in the summer of 62, I believe. Just three years earlier Governor A. B. "Happy" Chandler blacktopped our road in the last year of his administration, 1959. Proceeds go toward program costs for Junior Miss of Green County, which has hosted participants from Adair County Distinguished Young Women for the past two years.
