Paintsville mayor indicted for theft of government resources From U.S. Attorney U.S. Department of Justice, Eastern District of Kentucky LONDON, KY (17 Dec 2015) - Paintsville Mayor Robert Porter and the former general manager of the local, public utility commission have been accused of misappropriating property and city resources. A federal grand jury in London, KY, returned an indictment today charging Mayor Porter and Larry Herald, the former general manager of the Paintsville Utilities Commission, with two counts of theft of government property. Herald was also charged with one count of intentionally making false statements to the FBI. CES students visit Grandview residents By Calen McKinney Campbellsville Elementary School students recently visited Grandview residents to spread Christmas cheer. Third-graders went to the nursing and rehabilitation facility on Wednesday, Dec. 16, to pass out Christmas gifts and sing Christmas carols. Students decorated bags for the residents and put candy, fruit, lotions, socks, homemade Christmas cards and more inside.
