Clifton Pendleton, Casey Co., KY (1933-2015)

He was a native of Casey County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Alfred & Mila Patton Pendleton and the widower of Brenda Pendleton, who died just a few weeks ago. He leaves three direct living descendants. He was a mechanic for Griffin-Wesley Ford and a member of the New Testament Baptist Church.

Clifton Pendleton, 82, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home in Dunnville, KY.

Graveside services are 12pmCT/1pmET, Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Salem Cemetery with Bro. George Pierce officiating. Burial will follow service.


Clifton Pendleton, Casey Co., KY (1933-2015)


Born Thursday, September 21, 1933 in Casey County, KY, he is the son of the late Alfred and Mila Patton Pendleton. He died Friday, December 18, 2015, at his home in Dunnville, Casey County, KY, at the age of 82 years, two months, and 27 days. He was a mechanic for Griffin-Wesley Ford and a member of the New Testament Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • A son: Brent (and Tracy) Pendleton of Dunnville, KY

  • Two grandchildren, Breana and Abby

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Pendleton, who died November 5, 2015; nine brothers, Wilby Patton and America, Harvey, Roy, Delmer, Preston, Elbert , Marical, and Don Pendleton; and five sisters, Margie Cundiff, Virgie Lawhorn, Maxine Bates, Sara Carr, and Jewell Pendleton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
