Mrs. Perkins was a retiree from the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville. She was a very caring and loving mother and grandmother, and her love was reflected throughout her family. She lived a Godly life, daily professing faith in Christ, and was a member of the Campbellsville First Church of God.

Mrs. Bonnie Mae (McDaniel) Williams Perkins, 93, Campbellsville, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Campbellsville, KY, surrounded by her family.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Bonnie Williams Perkins on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Robbie Spencer will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 700 Old U.S. 68,, Campbellsville, KY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 18, 2015,from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET.

Mrs. Bonnie Mae (McDaniel) Williams Perkins was born on July 13, 1922 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Bertha (Chappell) McDaniel. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Campbellsville surrounded by her family. She was 93 years, 5 months, and 3 days of age.

She was the wife of Robert "Bug" Williams, Jr., who preceded her in death. Later, she married Elmer Perkins, who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Perkins was a retiree from the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville. She was a very caring and loving mother and grandmother, and her love was reflected throughout her family. She lived a Godly life, daily professing faith in Christ, and was a member of the Campbellsville First Church of God.

She leaves to cherish her memory:
  • Five children: Denzel Williams of Bowling Green, KY; Billy Dean Williams and wife Gatha of Russell Springs, KY; Wanda Kaye Perkins of Lafayette, TN; Jimmy Williams and wife Jerri of Anaheim, CA; and Marlene Tucker and husband Trent of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother: Clifford McDaniel, Jr. and wife Ernestine of Anderson, IN

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Eleven great-grandchildren

  • One great-great-grandchild

  • And a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Alta Thompson; a daughter-in-law, Faye Williams; and seven siblings, Sylvetta Williams, Charles McDaniel, Wesley McDaniel, Cecil McDaniel, Johnny McDaniel, Haskell McDaniel, and Oleda Curry.
