Ilene B. Goodhue, Cumberland Co., KY (1927-2015)

She was a life time straight ticket Democrat with a special love for Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy, and, importantly, a homemaker: 'Some might think of a homemaker like Ilene as not having many accomplishments to show for her life. She did not get past an eighth grade country school education, invent something to change people's lives, write anything that will be remembered forever, or make important decisions in business or politics. Despite these truths, to suggest she did not make an impact would be foolish.'

Ilene B. Guinn Goodhue, age 88, formerly of Cumberland County, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 08, 2015, in Jasper, Indiana.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11amCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky.
