Director Bruce McDonald and Ian McCormack, whose life is portrayed in the movie by Scott Eastwood, were both in Columbia, KY, last week to promote the film. The film is about an Australian surfer's search for the perfect wave, and the incident off the coast of Mauritius where he was lethally stung by a box jellyfish, his memory of the afterlife, hell, heaven and back and was converted from atheism to become a Christian.
