Adair Heritage Association notified of $5,200 TOUR SEKY gran A Trail Town, USA/Adair Heritage joint success improves downtown Ellen Zornes, President Adair Heritage Association/Trail Town has been notified by Cathy Lenox of TOUR SEKY has granted $5,200 for Downtown Columbia Benches. The grant application was written by Zornes and Holly Grimsley, Trail Town organizer. Zornes said that the benches will be made by Fabco, an Adair County firm. The grant will pay for eight benches will go in the fountain plaza, at the Adir Annex and some around the flower gardens around the court house. It's on the Glens Fork Road segment of Adair County's longest highway, KY 768, and is on the Glens Fork side of Spoons Oil Well Cementing, 541 Glens Fork Road, Columbia, KY. The statuary is erected at the gravesite of DorothyJ. Hadley (March 7, 1933-April 9, 2006) and Felix Hadley (October 16, 1924-October 1, 1992.) They were married June 15, 1950.
