Pickup Rotary Auction items at Historic Adair Co. Courthouse It's cool in the courthouse today. Two convenient six hour sessions scheduled Thursday and Friday, 12pm noon CT/6pmCT. And, if you didn't get a chance to bid, come by, visit, and donate to the Columbia Rotary Scholarship Fund - it helps a lot of rising Adair County students attend Lindsey Wilson College. If you'd like to consider joining one of Columbia's very active Clubs it will be a good time to do so. Click on headline for some surprising out-takes on premium Adair County products sold in the auction - and some notes of appreciation to some special people who made the auction happen. By Ellen Zornes Pick up of 2014 Rotary Radio Auction items will be 12pm noon CT-6pmCT, Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27, 2014 in the historic Adair County Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY. So come by to pay for and get your item(s) or just stop by to visit. We'll be there. . . . on the new floor in the hallway with the air conditioning keepin' us cool! We want to thank everyone who participated in any way; donating items, donating cash, advertising, our two public spirited radio stations and of course, bidding and buying the items. We won't know the total raised until after Friday evening. But one thing is for sure, bakeries everywhere are charging too little for their wares since Mary Keltner's fruit tart sold for $70 Tuesday night and Stacy Hatcher Wilson's famous banana pudding wasn't very far behind!
