Moon and Stars Watermelons are the absolutely the best. Taste and texture are equally superb.

Another note for you next year gardeners, Ambrosia Cantaloupe is unequaled in taste and texture. It is however, so juicy and sweet that its shelf life is short but that just means you get to eat them faster and often. - Billy Joe Fudge

Jon Halsey: Overtaxed figuratively and literally

By Jon Halsey
His Personal Opinion

BJF makes a good point.

We have a tax imposed by a private corporation, confirmed by a judge we didn't elect and ratified by a "Board" we had no say in appointing.

I guess we can look on the bright side and feel we're all grown up now and right in line with the State who has given us a Senator we didn't vote for and the U.S. Senate who for five years has refused to pass a Constitutionally mandated budget, and a President who has seemingly never heard of the Separation of Powers part of the Constitution.

Who knew that little Adair County would be at the forefront of defining a new form of U.S. Government.

Jon Halsey
Seriously "overtaxed" literally and figuratively. - Jon Halsey Comments re article 62466: Wonders about role of court in the hospital tax
