KSP Post 15 reports details of arrest of Russell Co., KY deputy Russell County Deputy Sheriff incarcerated in Russell County Detention Center, facing numerous charges. Investigation is ongoing, led by Detective Ricky Brooks of KSP Post 15 By Tpr. Jonathan Biven Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - On Friday, January 4, 2013, Kentucky State Police Post 15 Columbia received a complaint of a burglary. KSP 15 Troopers and Detectives arrived at 144 Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY, and spoke with the complainant. After examining the scene, it was discovered that a burglary had occurred and Detective Ricky Brooks also discovered what appeared to be a hazardous waste overpack that was suspected to be evidence in regards to a Russell County Sheriff's Department investigation.
