Thanks to inmates of the Restricted Custody Facility

Inmates set an example for the rest of the county

Barbara J Armitage writes:
On behalf of the members of the Adair County Garden Club I would like to thank the staff and the inmates of the Adair County Regional Jail - Restricted Custody for their enthusiastic support to the Garden Club projects in 2012.

Without these gentlemen we would not have accomplished the amount of work we did on the new Springhouse Herb Garden at the Trabue Russel House. With their help we moved countless stones to construct the beds and boarders of what is becoming the new herb garden and shoveled over 12 tons of soil into these and other new garden beds.

These men consider it a privilege to work on community projects which enhance our county. I wish that more citizens felt this way. -BARBARA J ARMITAGE
