Larry Walker: Aerial of Lure Lodge appears to be about 1962

Larry Walker writes:
I would guess the photo was taken during the summer of 1962 as the new lodge was nearing completion. Looking at the picture it is evident that the golf course grass and lawns had not gotten well established. There are empty parking lots. The new lodge opened in September of 1962 with only 24 rooms. - Larry Walker

Adam Dodson heroism: Additional information

About: Real life heroism: Adam Dodson stops attack on judge

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I just now saw the CM article and related link about Mr. Dodson helping put a damper on Ms. Hardwick's unauthorized bench-jumping.

There are two versions of the clip on YouTube. One is the full 1:43 clip (includes the tv news footage); it has about 2,100 views. The shorter version (43 seconds) of just the court tape has almost 75,000 (seventy-five thousand) views.

Thought you might like to see the story in the Wayne County Outlook.McCreary woman attempts to attack family court judge
