Mr. Glen Murray, Green Co., KY (1938-2011) He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for 35 years and also a Sunday School Teacher. He was a retired Lineman for Taylor County RECC, U.S.A.F. Veteran, and a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54. Mr. Murray was an avid fisherman, hunter, a lifelong farmer, loved to garden, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was 73 years, one month and 28 days of age. The funeral services for Mr. Glen Murray will be conducted at 1pmCT, Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 525 Temperance RD, Greensburg, KY with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Dr. Gary Ervin and Bro. Rod Keltner will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-9pmCT, Saturday, July 23, 2011, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, and 7am-12pm noon CT, Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Mike Compton, Tommy Judd, Charles Seaborne, Norman Wayne Paxton, Mike Underwood, and Tim Coffey. Honorary pallbearers: Vernon Henderson, Benny Aaron, Ron Gaunce, Harry Kesseler, and Lewis Garrison. He was 73 years, 1 month and 28 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for 35 years and also a Sunday School Teacher. He was a retired Lineman for Taylor County RECC, a Veteran having served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54. Mr. Murray was an avid fisherman, hunter, a lifelong farmer, loved to garden, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
