Remembering Roy E Melton: We are indebted to WWII heroes About: Remembering Roy E Melton: The face of a World War II hero To ColumbiaMagazine.com: I often think of and hold in high esteem what the USA Services of WWII did for this Earth. Without the efforts of our service people, the freedoms we enjoy today would not have been possible. Our involvement in the war changed the future of the World since so many countries had fallen and England was really challenged. I am deeply indebted to our WWII heroes and what they gave to assure our freedom and it is sad that most of them are gone. s/Bobby D.
