Obituary: Olive W. Grider, 92, Russell Co., KY She was a member of a large, prominent Russell Co., KY, family. She was a loving mother and was steadfast in her Christian faith. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and in recent years attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Olive W. Grider, 92, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at her home in Russell Springs, KY. Funeral services will be at 10amCT,Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with Bro. Delvin Wilson and Bro. Stan Milby officiating. Special music will be provided by Lana Foley. Burial in Russell County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8pmCT, Monday, March 22, 2010, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY. Pallbearers: Tim Baker, Richard Foley, Tim Foley, Barry McElroy, Thomas Wade, and Condy Young. Olive W. Grider, Russell Co., KY (1917-2010) She was the daughter of the late Elmer Logan and Emily Patience Blair McBeath. She was born Sunday, October 2, 1917, in Russell County, KY and died Saturday, March 20, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 18 days. Steadfast in her Christian faith, Mrs. Grider was a long-standing member of Providence Baptist Church, and more recently attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was married to Julius W. Grider on November 2, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1984. She was preceded in death by a son, Logan W. Grider; two brothers, William M. McBeath and Loren O. McBeath; and two sisters, Lula West and Desria Foley. Olive was the loving mother of five children and two grandchildren. Survivors include the following:
