John Ford: AdairConnection.com looks good

About: "Magistrates see premiere showing of AdairConnection.com"

Hi Ed,

Just wanted to say that the new site looks good and I know from personal experience using Adobe's Dreamweaver, that Mrs. Claiborne has expended some effort to create the site.

Anyway - looks good and should be a benefit to Adair County and its citizens.

s/John Ford

Thanks. We like it. We understand that it is meant to keep the public informed about the basics of county government. That's badly needed. For those who haven't seen the site, here's the link: AdairConnection.com

Shamarie Claiborne 3-Step, 30 second baseball field vote process

The Community overwhelmingly backs this drive.

We'll support the effort, and donate what would otherwise be substantial paid advertising to the cause..

There is nothing Adair Countians can't do when they are united, whether it is backing the finest marching band in the nation, supporting it's wonderful college, getting behind its firemen, supporting its brainy kids, caring for its elderly, or winning a bird watching contest, when the whole community gets together. We're voting every day for the baseball team, and urge every Adair Countian to join the the Boosters' effort on this one.

The unequalled Adair County Community Spirit trumps any concerns, we may have had. We join Shamarie, the Adair County Band, the Adair Fiscal Court, and most especially, Coach McQueary and the Adair County baseball boosters (lower case), one of whom called me an "egotistical jerk," and urge Adair Countians all over the world to make Adair County's field of dreams come true.

Now we'll follow Shamarie's three step procedure and vote today, and once each day for the next 18 days. Some of the regular ColumbiaMagazine.com features may be a little late, but we're sure you'll understand. -ED WAGGENER
