Comments: on A little town square gathering place

About: Little town square

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I would bet there are some folks in Columbia that would bring their guitars, banjos, and other musical instruments to jam on the square. A large group gathers on the square in Dahlonega, Georgia, almost every Saturday afternoon when the weather is good.

James Watson bowls 2nd 300 game

Second 300 in tournament in Bowling Green, New Year's Day 2009

By Sheila Blair

Just wanted to let everyone know, that as a parent, we have all at some point, felt the pride within us when we have a child excel at something or some sport which they love and enjoy.

But my pride is with my parents for excelling in the sport of bowling. My parents are James & Judy Watson, and for those of you who know them, you are well aware that they love to bowl, and have been doing so ever since I can remember.

On January 1, 2009 while bowling in a tournament in Bowling Green, my day accomplished something that few people do during their bowling career. He bowled his 2nd 300 game, not to bad for a 69 year old.

Just wanted to let everyone know how proud of him (and my Mom) that I am, congratulations Dad!!!! hope you have many more perfect games.

Love you both, Mom and Dad. Thanks for being the kind of parents that make me proud to be your daughter.
