American Woman Gabriella Versace at Magic Acres By Joe Hare On Saturday, September 5, 2008 there was a "Phil Aaron Medical Center" picnic held in the Freedom Community of Adair County, at the home of Dr. Phil's longtime friend and patient, Hilma Burton. Somewhere close to 150 employees, their families and friends were present to partake of the huge amount of food and fellowship that was present. It just so happens that Ms. Burton's son is Lance Burton, the Las Vegas magician, and he was also there along with his assistant/girlfriend Gabriella Versace. By Ed Waggener In last night's Adair County Fiscal Court Meeting, the court adopted a tax rate based on the 4% overall increase option, which is expected to bring in $490,005 to the county treasury. The rate for 2008 will be 10.10 cents per $100 valuation, up from 9.60 cents per $100 in 2007. Last year, the county received $450,344 in revenues from the property taxes.
