Feedback: Additional Adair County connection to Abe birthplace

Adair County projects in S. KY Highway boom story

A story this morning, Monday, August 25, 2008, in Associated Construction Progams online, includes entries on Adair County's highway construction and projects in the other Somerset, KY, Kentucky Highway Department District 8 counties, Casey (where there's a massive re-aligning of KY 70), Clinton, Cumberland (the straightening of KY 61 from KY 704 to Jones Chapel in Cumberland County), Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, and Wayne counties. The story lists projects from Adair's $27.

The story quotes Rodney Little, District 8 KHD, as saying the Columbia Western Bypass as being the most needed in the district.

The story says nothing of the KY 61 to re-building project from Holladay Place to Sparksville.
