Matt Poff leads ACHS golfers to second at Garrard Invitational

Poff's 72 is second lowest of tournament

The ACHS Indians boys golf team participated int he Garrard County Invitational tournament on Sat., Aug. 23rd, at Dix River golf course in Stanford, KY, home of the 2008 region.

The Indians finished 2nd shooting a team total 309.

The Indians were lead by Matt Poff one over par 72, the second lowest score of the tournament.

Other Indian scores:


  • Charles Breeding 75

  • Chaz Giles 81

  • Jordan Shelton 81

  • Van Giles 81
The Indians will be back in action Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at their home course, Pinewood Country Club, Columbia, KY against Metcalfe County High Sch

Matt Poff receives second place plaque at Garrard

ADAIR COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL GOLFER MATT POFF received the plaque for having the second lowest score at the Garrard County Invitational Tournament at Dix River Country Club on Saturday, August 23, 2008. His one over par 72 was also the best score for the ACHS team.

The ACHS BOYS GOLF TEAM finished 2nd in the Garrard County Invitational Tournament at Dix River Country Club in Stanford, KY which is located on US 127 between Stanford and host school hometown Lancaster, KY.
