City Council Regular June 2, 2008 meeting Agenda Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story The Columbia City Council has announced a 10-item agenda for the June 2, 2008 regular meeting. At the meeting, the Council will receive a first reading of the proposed 2008-2009 budget. As well, the Council is scheduled to vote and approve a second reading of a $115,000 bond issue for the Greenhils/Parrott Avenue Sewer extensions. The council will also receive and consider bids for the bonds. Included in the agenda is a request from Adair County Judge Ann Melton for the City to shoulder it's share of the dispatcher salaries for the new Enhanced 911 Center on South High Street in Columbia. Judge Melton's request is based on a pro-rata share for each entity's use.
