Byron Crawford has story on Adair Co., KY oil this morning Adair County's fame as oil exporting country spreads across Kentucky You may want to rush out and buy a copy of The Courier Journal Sunday paper this morning. It's worth the 25 surcharge war price the Rochester, NY publishers charge Adair Countians--something the Binghams, God bless them, would never have done--to get the hard copy. It's $2.00 here; $1.75 closer to Louisville, KY. Today's edition carries a column by Byron Crawford entitled "Dreams of Oil Return to Adair County" and cites Jimmy Reliford, Rick-Rod Oil Company, and brothers Rickey Rodgers and Ronnie Rodgers, and includes several Joe L. Barbee quotes, including a classic memory Mr. Barbee has of the late Dr. M.C. Loy. 2008-05-18 04:34:42 | Comments | Printable version
