CU professor Beverly C. Ennis receives Ph.D. degree

Dr. Beverly Ennis, assistant professor of education at Campbellsville University, has received her Ph.D. degree, according to an announcement from Dr. Frank Cheatham, vice president for academic affairs.

Ennis graduated from the University of Louisville-Western Kentucky University Cooperative Doctoral Program. Her Ph.D. is in educational leadership and organizational development.

LWC Baseball sweeps Brescia 20-4, 13-3 at Raider Field!

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College baseball team pounded out 29 hits in today's doubleheader to sweep visiting Bresica (KY) University at Raider Field.

The Blue Raiders improve to 10-6 on the season with the 20-4 and 13-3 wins. Brescia falls to 3-14 on the season with the losses.

GIGO Diary of a Recycler: Everyday we are going to follow my garbage to see just how close I can come to eliminating my contribution the landfills in America Today is Tuesday March 11, 2008. Posted 2008-03-12.

Wayne and I have a difference of opinion about batteries. It's the rechargeable type that we really disagree on. To be more exact I want to leave the charger for the battery powered drill unplugged and he wants to plug it in.

The ACHS cheerleaders will be leaving tonight for the CANAM National Cheerleading Competition in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The squad will be in team competition both Saturday and Sunday, March 15, and 16, 2008.

Obituary: Kenneth O. Andrew, 79

OBITUARIES

He was a member of a large, respected South Adair County family. He was an elder in the Glensfork Christian Church and had retired from service with the Adair County Board of Education

Kenneth O. Andrew, 79, 1830 Hwy 768 East, Glensfork, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at 3:30pm, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethown, KY.

The funeral service will be Friday, March 14, 2008, at 1:00pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Carroll Egnew and Bro. Bill Wethington the officiating clergy.
