LWC's Moore, Cain earn Mid-South Conference honors SPORTS: Softball By Chris Wells, LWC Sports information director COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College seniors Shayla Cain and Leigh Ann Moore earned Mid-South Conference softball honors for their play during the week ending March 9, 2008. Cain, a Reno, Nevada native, was named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week. She hit .400 (2 for 5) with two home runs and five RBIs, including the game-winner in the Blue Raiders 4-3 win over Midway (KY) College. She ended the week with a 1.600 slugging percentage.
