COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College seniors Shayla Cain and Leigh Ann Moore earned Mid-South Conference softball honors for their play during the week ending March 9, 2008.

Cain, a Reno, Nevada native, was named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week. She hit .400 (2 for 5) with two home runs and five RBIs, including the game-winner in the Blue Raiders 4-3 win over Midway (KY) College. She ended the week with a 1.600 slugging percentage.

Moore earned Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Week after hurling a no-hitter in a 5-0 win over Midway. The Dawson Springs, KY, native, allowed just one base runner, a walk, over her seven innings of work. She also struck out 15 Midway batters for the complete game win.
