Response to:"It is time to develop all of Kentucky to its potential," by Ralph Waggener

Ed:

The GEYSER FROM THE WATER MAIN BREAK inadvertently added to the Christmasy look downtown, but it was an aesthetic touch the crews of Columbia of Columbia Utilities could well have done without on the second day of January, 2008. When the photo was taken, they had been on the job for two hours, with at least another hour to go. Dana Rogers, Columbia Water Superintendent, said he expected the repair to be complete by 6:30am Wednesday night, January 2, 2007.

Letter: Knew what Christmas was about in Adair County, KY

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

Happy New Year to everyone there in Columbia and Adair County. Growing up there, this season makes me think back to my childhood. It was a great place to grow up. I think back to the Christmases and New Years with our big family of 13 children and great parents. We learned what Christmas was all about. Not lots of presents, but lots of love. I still have lots of family and driends who still live there in Adair Coutny. Thanks to the Waggeners for ColumbiaMagazine.com. It is great. God bless you all. Have a wonderful 2008. Thanks.
