Spoon family in line at the Health Fair

2006-09-30 - Colulmbia - Photo by Linda Waggener. ROBIN AND MARK SPOON brought daughters Roslin Wilson and Morgan along with them to the Health Fair Saturday. The popular annual Westlake Hospital screening drew hundreds. Lines inched along the hallway from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., allowing time for visiting friends, and making new ones, while we waited. The Spoons are from Glensfork and Roslin is a student at the new Adair County Elementary School.

FEEDBACK: Says Breeding, GOP events conflict hurts party

Says conflict will hurt Republican candidates

Dear Editor, I wish that this Republican Rally and the Breeding Fire Dept. could have been held on different dates .A lot of our Candidates, including Raymond Overstreet, would have liked to attend both of these events. Since they both start about the same time it will be impossible for them to spend very much time at either event, if they go to both. i just hope the people understand how important these two events are to the Republican Candidates. Thanks. -Russell Overstreet
