First & Farmers National Bank would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Columbia Market President Ann Martin, as she retires from the bank at the end of this month after more than four decades of exemplary service and leadership.

Ann joined First National Bank in 1980 as a Part-Time Teller/Bookkeeper and worked her way up the corporate ladder throughout the years. Her steady hand of experience guided the bank through the merger of First National and First & Farmers National Bank in 2008. She lends her knowledge to virtually every committee at the bank and to the First & Farmers National Bank board, where she has served as a director for over 19 years. Additionally, she has contributed on the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce board, as well as the Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority board. In 2008, Ann was awarded the title of "Outstanding Business/Professional Woman of the Year" by the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce.
