Letter: slip up on the skunk

Marcus Pierce writes:
Basically to catch a skunk involves slipping up on the skunk without startling him and get him before he gets you. If he cannot raise his tail then he cannot spray. Happy hunting! As a added precaution have several large cans of tomato juice on hand.

Phillip Coffey - Caught Up

By Phillip Coffey
Suddenly got caught up in a whirlwind while watching too much Television.
Lifted up highly, alternating 'left' and right direction' - smack over a large crowd.
Dropped down amongst them, not gently - though I was never too 'sound'.
Lot of unrest - each vector in babbled speech-protesting something or another.

Astonished by all - How did I get here after all these years by just floating around?
Small portion of sanity returned, thought it all over - better stretch before 'going off'.
Walked for quite a spell in my imagination, OH NO! - seeing more people - much yelling.
Made my wisest decision in a long while, off the recliner - remotely, turned off the T.V.

He said, "This is a must see for everyone, after the short tour of the coal mine, you will see how difficult life was about a hundred years ago. It gives the old song by Tennessee Ernie Ford, 16 Tons, alot of meaning."
