Shopping at home first encouraged by local Chamber

Locally owned businesses are the backbone of our economy. On a dollar-for-dollar basis, the local economic impact of independently owned businesses is significantly greater than that of national chains. Three times as much money stays in the local economy when you buy goods and services from home grown businesses.

By Ellen Zornes, Executive Director, Columbia/Adair Chamber of Commerce

Join the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce as it once again promotes our "SHOP LOCAL" campaign beginning with To the Nines Downtown Market, November 9, 2018 and ending on Wednesday, December 12. Drawings will be held Friday, December 14, immediately before that night's To the Nines experience. This four-week event spotlights the importance of our local businesses and encourages our community to shop at Columbia-Adair County businesses.
