This spot on Greensburg Street sidewalk tilts toward the road

2018-02-27 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Ellen Zornes, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.
The City of Columbia Sidewalk Committee continues to meet and fine tune plans for improvement, focusing on the most in need streets first. Greensburg Street is a priority as it is the main walkway for school children mornings and afternoons. Their safety is a priority. From left in the photo, in a moment of fun to spotlight the problem here, are: Linda Waggener being held onto the sidewalk by Jelaine Harlow, Mary Anne Loy and Pam Hoots in back. Mary Anne invited the group to her street where problems are easy to experience. She will give an update on the sidewalk progress Monday, March 5, 2018 City Council meeting, 6pmCT at City Hall. - LW
