Miracle at Christmas, or is one of these the story?

2017-12-28 - Burkesville, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Could be, he meant stop in at the Alpine, and missed that a mile. Could be, he was hungry for shoulder sandwich at Hamilton's, and missed that as well, and it looks like he even missed, by a few toes, arriving safely on top of the Cumberland County Courthouse. Could be, all ended as planned, and the parachuting Santa Claus is just doing what he does, brightening Upper River Street, in Burkesville, KY. - EW. Paired photo

Thank you so very much for the boiled custard recipe. It was just this week I was telling my family how my mother, Elva Sparks, always made custard that we would drink. Also, Butch Sparks McCormick made the boiled custard at Christmas. Now I can make it for my family and all the good memories come back of my mother, Butch, and Kentucky at Christmas time. --Virginia Sparks Wonderling

By Andrew Melnykovych

FRANKFORT, KY (28 Dec 2017) - The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has ordered for-profit utilities to track their savings under lower corporate tax rates that take effect Monday, paving the way for those savings to be passed on to customers in the form of lower electric, gas or water rates.

In two orders issued Wednesday, December 27, 2017 the PSC noted that investor-owned utilities recover their federal tax expenses from ratepayers. Under the federal tax law enacted earlier this month, the corporate income tax rate will decline from 35 percent to 21 percent next year, substantially reducing the tax burden on for-profit, investor-owned utilities.
