Phillip Carter, 74, Columbia, KY (1943-2017) He was was a farmer and a member of Free Union Separate Baptist Church. He was a member the Adair County High School Class of 1962. He was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was a member of a highly regarded East Adair County, Kentucky family, the son of the late Lee "Bob" & Mary Lee Denton Carter. His wife, Wand Sue Grider Carter, survives.
