Letter: Columbia, KY is truly the fountain of ink

Jackson R Brower writes:
I enjoyed your photo of Ford Nashett at the Adair County Library Book Fair. It is very impressive that this gentleman co-writes books with his wife Irene Black. I will have to check them out. Equally astounding is their pseudonym 'Nash Black'.

I now strongly believe that Columbia, KY, is truly the "fountain of ink" (a wordplay on "fountain of youth") for aspiring writers. It all started back in the mid-1800s when Jane Lampton gave birth to her son Samuel Clemens in Columbia. Then and now the main crossroads and most important town in South Central Kentucky.

Mr. Clemens also had a very catchy pseudonym, Mark Twain!

Your Pennsyltucky pen-pal, -Jackson
