LWC Teams fare well in preseason polling, Golf ranked #1 Women's Golf ranked 3rd, men's and women's cross country, volleyball, and women's soccer are all ranked in top 5 in their conference. Compiled from Lindsey Wilson College announcements The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team is the favorite to capture the Mid-South Conference title in 2017-18 according to the MSC Preseason Poll released by the conference office on Wednesday. The Blue Raiders, who captured the 2016-17 conference regular season title, received 33 total voting points, including four of the seven first-place votes, from the conference coaches. Lindsey Wilson men's golf has won eight MSC regular-season titles in its history. Lindsey's women's golf team is projected to finish third in the Mid-South Conference in 2017-18, according to the MSC Preseason Coaches' Poll released today by the conference office. By Woody Maglinger/Jack Mazurak Frankfort, KY - Stratus Plastics International Inc., an automotive and consumer goods supplier, will invest $4 million to locate a factory in Morgantown, creating 29 full-time jobs in Western Kentucky. To encourage the investment and job growth in the community, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority in June preliminarily approved the company for up to $480,000 in tax incentives through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the agreement term through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets. Traffic advisory: I-65 Interchange, Exit 91 in E-town/Hardin Co. Because of ongoing road work, motorists should be aware GPS devices may provide conflicting directions. Motorists needing access to Northbound I65 at the Exit 91 (Elizabethtown) interchange should be prepared to follow new signage beginning today. The Northbound I65 access ramp from Westbound WK Parkway is closed as widening and bridge construction along I65 progresses. In order to access Northbound I65, follow detour signs which will result in traffic being directed through the interchange to merge onto Northbound I65 from Eastbound WK Parkway. The stop condition at the end of the Northbound merge is eliminated with this change. Last year, they went to Chicago, and this year to Cleveland to see the Indians vs. the Yankees, visit the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame, down to Cincinnati for a Reds' game and then to Kings' Island. Being outnumbered by boys, Eme brought a friend, so Jon had five kids to keep track of under the age of fourteen. (His wife came for the Cincinnati game and King's Island.)
