FRANKFORT, KY (Fri 7 Oct 2016) - Gov. Matt Bevin and Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles today congratulated Kentucky Fresh Harvest LLC as company and Stanford-area officials broke ground on a $10.7 million, 75-job facility to produce cherry tomatoes.

Annie Aline Froedge Whitlow, 91, Metcalfe Co., KY (1925-2016)

She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith, and the matriarch of a large, respected Metcalfe County, KY family. She was a native of Metcalfe County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the widow of the late Bernice Cole Whitlow. She leaves 22 direct living descendants.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with burial to follow in the Joe Field Cemetery. Visitation will begin Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2pm-8pmCT, and on Sunday after 8amCT until time of services at 2pmCT.
