At the Columbia/Adair County EDA meeting today CJE Mike Stephens was asked when the first alcoholic beverages would be sold. It was his guess, he said, that the first outlets would be city stores - maybe four of them - owned by one chain. And, though he said it was only conjecture, his guess would be that malt beverages would be available as early as Friday, June 24, 2016. LWC Cycling 2015-2016 Year in Review By Charlie Balcom Sabrina Bice becoming the 30th Blue Raider to capture an individual national championship and the BMX team finishing as the national runner-up highlighted another strong year from the Lindsey Wilson cycling program in 2015-16. Bice became the 17th different Blue Raider to capture a cycling national title after taking home the individual victory at the 2016 Collegiate BMX National Championships.
