To vote for your favorite Squarecrow stop by the Retired Teachers's booth. It's somewhat of the official unofficial Downtown Days headquarters. Both Chamber President Brenda Mann and Vice President Ellen Zornes are retired school teachers.

You'll need to know the Squarecrow's number to vote. (You can review them at Ellen Zornes announces Peoples Choice Squarecrow Award, along with a the video: Square Crows with Ellen Zornes)

From Hunterland: Insight on the Dr. Pepper bottling plant

Hunter Durham writes:
The Dr. Pepper plant was behind the service station. It also bottled Grapette which had at least 3 oz of Grape Juice in a small bottle so thick you could hardly see through it. It as a great place to get bottle caps to press on your jeans or in the spokes of your bike. Boy, I am getting older. HUNTER DURHAM
