By Teresa Bright Applications for the 2015 Adair County Agricultural Investment (CAIP) program are available beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2015 through Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY, during regular business hours. This program is a 50% cost-share program with a maximum funding of $1,500 per farm operation. CAIP is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices. Thinks new band building should have come before bus garage Personal commentary Vicki Brock Miller writes: I'm quite surprised that our School Board would choose to build a bus garage when a new band room, which would be considered a instructional facility, is so badly needed. The well being and safety of the students should take priorty over the buses.
