He was a native of Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late Chester Acie Ellsworth and Wanda Whitten Ellsworth. He He was construction worker and home builder. Jerry was a member of the Pine Grove Church.

Everett "Jerry" Ellsworth, of Dry Creek Road, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at his residence. He was 75.

Funeral services will be held at 12pmCT/1pmET, Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 11amCT/12pmNoonCT, until time of funeral on Wednesday at the funeral home.


Born January 26, 1940, in Chicago, IL. He was a son of the late Chester Acie Ellsworth and Wanda Whitten Ellsworth. He died Sunday, August 30, 2015, at the age of 75 years, seven months, and four days.

He was construction worker and home builder. Jerry was a member of the Pine Grove Church.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Betty Wyka of Liberty, KY
  • His son: Gerald D. Ellsworth of Murray, KY

  • A brother: Edward A. Ellsworth of Liberty, KY

  • A sister: Vivian Hochstrasser of Liberty, KY

  • A half-brother: James Ellsworth of Mannsville, KY

  • And several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Marlind and Daniel Ellsworth and sisters, Shirley Smithermen and Charlene Free.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to help the family offset funeral expenses.
