24 Sep 2014 - Today, Wed. is Tony Grider Hug Day

Tammy Sexton and Tony's Sister, Tammy Grider found day honoring Tony Grider for this day and in the future Tony Grider Hug Days.

By Tammy Sexton

He was well known for his warm, kind and caring hugs. Captain Tony Grider will be laid to rest Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Nearly the first thing that comes to mind when speaking of this great public servant along with his contagious smile was the famous "Grider Hug"; not just a side hug nor a pat on the back but a full two arms wide open bear hug. Many of us were lucky to receive one now and then as his kindness and willingness to help others was always so prevalent. Help us help his sister Tammy Grider in spreading her wonderful idea to make Wednesday, September 24, 2014 "Tony Grider Hug Day". Tammy Sexton, 99.9 The Big Dawg & 92.7 The Wave

Funeral services are today, 24, Sep 2014 Capt. Tony Grider (1973-2014) in Columbia, KY and interment in Russell County.
