Mary Houk, Adair County, KY (1942-2013)

She was an employee at Holmes Bend Boat Dock for 13 years. Her husband, Wendell Houk, survives. She leaves 25 direct living descendants.

Burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT/6pmET, Sunday, June 30, 2013, at the funeral home.

Herbert Kent White, Metcalfe Co., KY (d. June 27, 2013)

He was a retired barber and army veteran. He was a member of the Glendale Baptist Church. He leaves four direct living descendants

Herbert Kent White age 84 of Bowling Green died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT/3pmET, Monday, July 1, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, KY, burial in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:30amCT/11:30amET, Monday until service time at the funeral home.

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY - On Thursday, June 27, 2013 at approximately 7:35pmET, Post 4 received a call of an injury crash near the 128 mile marker on the Western Kentucky Parkway. Tpr. Josh Cummings responded and learned that a 6-year-old female had been ejected from a vehicle.

I agree wholeheartedly.

"America's Mayor" started the "Broken Window" approach which ultimately led to a huge drop in NY's crime rate. What kind of community would we be if we became so selective as to what types of crime and criminals we sanctioned pursuing?
