Mary Houk, 70, of Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 3:03pmCT, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

Funeral service, Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10amCT/11amET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, KY, with Bro. Bill Henson and Bro. Ralph Foster. Burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT/6pmET, Sunday, June 30, 2013, at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: David Butler, Joey Caldwell, Tanner Caldwell, Bobby Burton, Jack Antle and Robert Patterson.

She was born Sunday, July 5, 1942, in Buffalo, LaRue County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Johnnye & Annie Murrell Wilson. She died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

She was an employee at Holmes Bend Boat Dock for 13 years.

Survivors Include:
  • Her husband: Wendell Houk of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons - Glenn Yates of Columbia, KY; and Michael Ray Houk of Georgia

  • Three daughters: Marilyn Eason, Gail (Peaches) Gaskin, Adair County, KY (1964-2013) and Marsha M. Clark all of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Geneva Antle and Sara Jane Burton both of Columbia, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Ten great-grandchildren
