CAUD Boil Water Advisory in effect Cane Valley area A boil water advisory, Issued at 3:10pmCT, Thursday, February 14, 2013, is in effect for consumers of Columbia Adair Utilities District for customers on Cane Valley Road, Cane Valley School Road, Day Lily Lane and Steve Breeding Road.The advisory has been issued due to main line leak. Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using. This advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality. Man arrested on drug charges after Columbia, KY traffic stop 19 year old faces multiple charges By Ofc. Joshua Brockman, Public Affairs Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross On Wednesday February 13, 2013, at approximately 4:30pmCT. Columbia Police Officer Brad Scholl conducted a traffic stop on a Blue 2000 Chevrolet pickup located on Jamestown Street in the limits of Columbia. As a result of the stop 19 year old Joshua Dial was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree ( Heroin) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
