He was the patriarch of a highly regarded Green County, KY family. He was the son of the late Noah Marvin and Mandy Bird Young Curry. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rebecca Squires Curry. He leaves 10 direct living descendants. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired Dry Kiln Operator for Greensburg Manufacturing and also worked part-time as a Security Guard for the Taylor Regional Hospital after retirement. He was also a veteran having served in the United States Air Force

He was a member of a large, respected Adair County, KY family. His marriage to Stella Brown endured for 40 years until her death in 2003. He leaves four direct living descendants. He was a member of the Baptist Temple and was retired after 41 years service with Classic Auto Center. Robert enjoyed tinkering with automobiles and fishing.

84 Year old suspect charged in death of Clarkson, KY woman

Previous Story: Shooting In Grayson County leaves one dead, another wounded

Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY

CLARKSON, KY - The suspect in the January 3, 2013 "Shooting In Grayson County leaves one dead, another wounded" story, 84-year-old, Alva Gussler of Clarkson, has been charged with Murder and Assault 1st and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center, in Leitchfield, KY. An argument ensued between Gussler and 59-year-old, Laura L. Ford who lived in the home with Alva Gussler and his son, 48-year-old Michael C. Gussler. At some point in the argument Alva Gussler produced a gun and shot Laura Ford in the chest. She was transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Michael Gussler was shot in the arm and was treated at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. His injury is non-life threatening. This incident occurred at approximately 8:05pmET. The investigation is ongoing by Post 4 Detective Jason Propes. - MTPR NORMAN CHAFFINS

KSP E-town Post arrests Louisville man on child porn charges

Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY

BARDSTOWN, KY - A Jefferson County man was arrested on charges related to child pornography Friday after Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at his home. Dennis Ray Benningfield, 48, of Louisville, is charged with 1 count of Distribution of Matter Portraying the Sexual Performace by a Minor and 7 counts of Possession of Matter Portraying the Sexual Performace by a Minor. He was lodged at Louisville Metro Corrections.

Benningfield was arrested by the Kentucky State Police as a result of an undercover online investigation into the possession and distribution of images of child sexual exploitation. The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Mr. Benningfield's residence in Louisville, KY on December 28, 2012, by Kentucky State Police Post 4 units. Equipment used to distribute child pornography were seized and taken to the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory for examination. Additional charges are pending. Kentucky State Police Post 4 and the KSP Electronic Crime Branch are members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The investigation is ongoing by Det. The Indians currently have a two game winning streak after downing Whitley County and Nelson County in their last two games.

The JV game will tip off at 5:30pmCT/6:30ET, with the varsity game getting underway at approximately 7pmCT/8pmET.

Shooting In Grayson County leaves one dead, another wounded

92 year old man being questioned at the scene in Clarkson, KY (Google Map), approximately 65 miles NW of Columbia, KY

CLARKSON, KY- On Thursday, January 03, 2013 at approximately 8:37pmET, KSP Post 4 in Elizabethtown received a call from Grayson County Central Dispatch asking for assistance on a shooting at 48 Tara Lane in Clarkson, KY. Preliminary investigation revealed that a female victim had been shot in the chest and was transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was pronounced dead at approximately 9:10pmET. A male victim was shot in the arm and was also transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. His injury appears to be non-life threatening. A 92-year-old suspect is being questioned at the scene by Post 4 Detectives. The investigation is ongoing by Post 4 Detective Jason Propes. - MTPR NORMAN CHAFFINS
