Rabbit Crisis in The Holler, for Molly

2010-04-06 - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne. The Holler, Old Clearspring RD, Ozark, KY
It is the happiest of times. It is the saddest of times in The Holler for Shamarie Beatrix Potter Claiborne, now that two St. Mary Easter Bunnies are added to the Ozark census. The rabbits are settling and have been christened. The white one, the Californian, is Eluna. The gray one, the Chinchilla, is Suzy. The problem is Molly, the golden lab. She is having a total breakdown since the rabbits arrived. She's never spent one night outside in her life. But last night, Molly left and refused to come back in the house. What to do? What to do? Are there any good dog psychologists out there with advice? Noah in the Bible had everybody happy on his cruise ship. Why can't one spoiled rotten lab get along with two sweet little bunny rabbits?" See Molly, the artist.. Please send advice via ColumbiaMagazine.com using the Comments button with this picture.

Sycamore Springs Sage comments on Squirrel diet

About: Mr. Squirrel dines on potato wedge at Bub Polston's

By Cynthia Meyer
Good Lord! Mr. Polston is corrupting the wildlife! That poor squirrel will have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hardening of the arteries and other maladies that only humans who consume those tasty little morsels of tater wedges get. Thankfully he did not offer the little guy dipping sauce.lol. -Cynthia MeyerNote to editor: Do you have any idea where he got that tater wedge he fed to the squirrel? it looked pretty good. I would have considered fighting the squirrel over that one myself!
